The exhibition, held in late August in the Masonic Hall, Cromer Road, was another great success. More than 50 local artists submitted just over 300 pictures of which 51 were sold.
A profit of about £800 was made which will be split equally between the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH) at Quidenham. This means that in the last three years a total of £2,000 in exhibition profits will have been donated to local good causes (£600 to EACH in 2015 and £600 to the Sheringham Playpark Revamp, Cromer Road, in 2016). This makes the hard work of the Society’s Arts Committee in organising the event well worthwhile.
